The Festival

Where the world meets Nepal

September 25–27, 2026 in Pokhara, Nepal. Three days of building, living and exploring with entrepreneurs, creators, founders, investors and digital nomads.

Who it's for

You don't have to be a full-time nomad

If you work remotely some of the time, run something, are building something, or invest in people who do — this is aimed at you.

  • Digital nomads
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Startup founders
  • Creators
  • Freelancers
  • Investors
  • Tourism professionals
  • Remote workers
  • Students & emerging professionals

How it works

How the three days are built

  • Festival attendees at a Nomads Basecamp talk session
    Day 1

    Build

Technology • AI • Startups • Creators • Remote work

Founder and investor sessions on the technology, AI and startup practice shaping how the world works remotely. Set the foundation for what you'll create.

  • Community and wellness activities beside Phewa Lake in Pokhara
    Day 2

    Live

    Wellness • Lifestyle • Community • Culture

A sunrise run, wellness sessions and meditation above Phewa Lake. Slow down, recharge, and build the relationships that outlast the festival.

  • Himalayan landscape above Pokhara, Nepal
    Day 3

    Explore

Tourism • Adventure • Business • Local partnerships

Tourism leaders, local partnership meetings and investor conversations, capped by a World Tourism Day celebration in the heart of the Himalayas.

How we run it

What makes this different

  • A working festival, not a trade show

No booth crawl. Sessions are built to be used — you should leave with something you can act on, not a tote bag.

  • Small enough to actually meet people

The value is in running into the same faces across three days. We keep it at a size where that happens naturally.

  • Nepal is the point, not the backdrop

The country is part of the programme. You'll spend time in it, not just look at it through a conference-room window.

  • Built with local operators

Accommodation, transfers and experiences run through Nepali partners. The money stays in Pokhara.

Nomads Basecamp is organised by Saarang Services Pvt. Ltd., based in Nepal.
